Timothy Chalamet and Zendaya? Okay okay, you got me. Dune (2021) is a movie I have been waiting for since I heard about its production during the early days of the pandemic. Especially with Denis Villeneuve at the helm of the project.

It has taken me a long while to sit down and find the will to write a review for Cinderella (2021) and that’s because I feel incredibly bleh. Was it a good movie? Um, it wasn’t ground breaking. Was it enjoyable? I think this is subjective and some people would disagree with me, but it was entertaining in a scaring-a-child-on-halloween kind of way.

Shadow in the Cloud (2021) stars Chloe Grace Moretz as Maude Garrett a WWII pilot who boards a B-17 Flying Fortress. She carries with her a case that must be “sat upright at all times” and sports a black eye when we meet her. The crew of the plane is immediately suspicious of her since they were not told she’d be boarding and don’t buy her story about a confidential mission.

The story begins with Jamie Randall (Jake Gyllenhaal) a womanizing pharmaceutical salesman trying to reach his quota. On one occasion of him trying to pitch Zoloft to Doctor Knight (Hank Azaria), he manages to orchestrate a plan to shadow Knight for the day as a pretend intern. This allows him access to patients like Maggie Murdock (Anne Hathaway), who happens to be in a state of undress when we meet her.
